BASS music Festival returns for 2nd year -

Short for 'British Art and Street Sounds', BASS is about truly representing the diverse and creative musical scene in our city and bringing the best performers to the widest possible audience.
In summer people tend to assume that festivals take place over 3 days in fields full of tents, but Punch have but together BASS (British Arts and Street Sounds), an urban music festival that spans across Birmingham & the East Midlands throughout the whole month of June.
BASS festival features leading artists in hip-hop, jazz, drum & bass, gospel, future jazz, broken beat and disco-house in a variety of clubs and venues across the city. In addition, there are hip-hop films at arts centres, a hip-hop photography exhibition at a music venue and much more.
Artists already confirmed for BASS 07 include Ty, Sasha Brooks, Charlie Dark, Henry Chalfant, Goldie, Jonzi D, Decypher Collective, Kray Twinz, Sway, MC Polar Bear, Soil & Pimp, Baby J, Benji Reid, E Double D, & many, many more.
