Local indie rockers, Midas, are taking yet another step to stardom as they prepare for the release of their second single ‘Red Shoes’.
The Midlands based band launch their single with a special in-store gig and signing at HMV Birmingham on August 20th, with dates in London, Nottingham and Wolverhampton to follow.
The band recently charted at number 3 in the Indie Chart with their debut single, and look to succeed with the follow up. After recent tour dates with Shiny Toy Guns, they have been requested personally by STG frontman, Jeremy Dawson.
Midas were also lucky enough to be in the ‘Seven Bands set to rock your campus’ feature in The Times recently too, following backing from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Radio 2 latching on to the band and airing their material.
Red Shoes is released on the band’s own label ‘Plastic Tank’ on 20th August 2007 on Limited Edition CD single and digitally through all good download stores.
