Local punk rock upstarts, Templeton Pek, have just inked a deal with Small Town Records.

Templeton Pek have been grafting away through the punk scene for a fair while now, and have always showed a lot of talent, enthusiasm and determination to suceed. The band promote themselves heavily and over the years, through a lot of hard work things have gone their way as the band has been part of many great opportunities open to unsigned acts, such as Taste Of Chaos 2005, Jack Daniels Academy Tour in August 2007, Give It A Name in April 2007, and also playing Reading 2005.

"We're really excited about getting this album we're immensly proud of out there. We're also equally excited about working with a label of like minded individuals, with a roster of really great bands....we can't wait to get out there and show as many people as we can. Time for a beers "

UK indie label, Small Town Records, took on Templeton Pek this month and are set to release the band's debut album in January 2008, with a Limited Edition single coming out November 2007.
